Driving to Dubbo

From Sydney

Travel over the Blue Mountains to Lithgow. From Lithgow there are two options; either drive north via Mudgee and Gulgong (396km) or head west via Bathurst and Orange (408km)

From Canberra

Travel north via Yass, Cowra, Canowindra and Molong (403km)

Take the bus with Dubbo Buslines – view latest timetables
Hire a vehicle from Avis, Budget, Hertz or Thrifty.

Getting to Dubbo by Train

NSW TrainLink’s daily return service from Central Station arrives in Dubbo at 2pm each day. Daily train and coach services also operate between Dubbo and Lightening Ridge, Coolabah, Broken Hill and Parkes.

Flying to Dubbo

Dubbo is within a one-hour flight of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle and Canberra. The Dubbo City Regional Airport is 7km from Dubbo’s CBD and offers more than 180 direct flights per week.
