The Savannah Cabins offers self-contained accommodation in a unique location. Set on natural grassland just outside of the Zoo; guests can relax and take in the tranquillity of this unique setting.

Please note that there is no direct walking access between the Zoo and the Savannah Cabins. Own vehicle required.

Check-in time is between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Guests are invited to access the zoo via the main gates and complete a quick registration at the information counter within the Savannah Visitor Plaza before driving to the Savannah Cabins located adjacent to the zoo. Late check-ins can be arranged directly with Savannah Cabins.

Savannah Cabin – $270 per night (minimum two-night stay, room only, breakfast not included)
Fully self-contained two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin. (Queen bed with ensuite in bedroom 1, two singles or king bed in second bedroom). Air-conditioned, full kitchen facilities, outdoor dining area, bedding, linen and towels included. Serviced daily.

Full prepayment of accommodation is required to secure your booking. All accommodation payments must be made by Wednesday 8 September 2023.

Block bookings have been made at the properties listed and will be confirmed on a first-in basis. Bookings have been made for the symposium dates only (Checking in on Monday 16 October and checking out on Friday 20 October). Accommodation can be organised outside these dates on a by-request basis only, and room rates may vary outside these dates.  All accommodation bookings are subject to availability.

Bookings can be made via the conference registration form or by emailing jayne@eastcoastconferences.com.au. Your reservation and prepayment will be forwarded to the hotel.

Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Conference Managers and not directly to the hotel.  Cancellations must be made in writing to jayne@eastcoastconferences.com.au. Cancellations made before 8 September 2023 will be refunded. Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable (if payment has not been received at the time of cancellation, the full amount the accommodation booking will be due).

Hotel check-in time is 2pm. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room.  To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival you will need to pre-book your room for the previous night.  If required please indicate on your registration form. (You will be charged by the hotel for the additional night).
